 Charlize Theron is a South African and American actress who received critical acclaim for her portrayal of serial killer Aileen Wuornos in Monster for which she won an Academy Award, Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actress. In 2016, Time named her in the annual Time 100 most influential people list. She also created The Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project (CTAOP) in an effort to support African youth in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
